Hello to reader members and thank you for perusing and reading our authors books!

We are very pleased to have added authors latest royalty statements which can be viewed by authors clicking on My Royalties when logged in. FeedARead net royalties are higher than the norm of the largest publishers.

Thank you to all authors who have published with FeedARead.com, and twenty-five percent of site profits go back into the site so we look forward to adding further functions over the coming months to help further increase author sales. For the next few months we are concentrating on further admin functions for book processing, and then we will progress to adding further features for readers and authors. We will also be announcing soon the ten highest selling books that will receive feedback from Random House and Orion, publishers of authors such as Dan Brown, John Grisham and Terry Pratchett, and the aim of the site over time is that we will see talented new authors develop further and also make the leap through this route to mainstream publishing.

Dolphins Ebook Reading Discovery

Fox Science News reports that Dolphins may have grasped the fundamentals of reading after an experiment in which a dolphin was reported to have been actively flipping through the pages of a Harry Potter book on Kindle.

The report indicates that Dolphins may have taken the next step in the evolutionary chain which opens up many sociological and rights issues. Rather than just a motor skills reflex, the dolphin was reported to have been using the left to right eye mechanism used in reading, apparently following the tale of Harry Potter and his exploits with Voldemort. The experiment took place in the Scientific Institute of California on April 1st. Apparently an Iguana was also discovered reading War and Peace ;) Happy April 1st!

YouWriteOn.com Originator Shortlisted for Costa Book Awards

Many congratulations to Martyn Bedford, who helped originate Arts Council funded youwriteon.com's system for budding writers with fellow author Phil Whitaker, Martyn has been shortlisted for the 2011 Costa Book Awards for his children’s novel Flip.

The Ilkley-based writer is shortlisted for the prestigious prize alongside literary heavyweights Julian Barnes, a Man Booker Prize winner, and poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy. Martyn is now associate senior lecturer in creative writing at Leeds Trinity University College.

Martyn and Phil's work on youwriteon.com enables budding writers to exchange reviews and ratings for each others' opening chapters. They backed the idea for youwriteon.com's highest rated writers to have feedback from publishers like Random House and Orion.
