Aristocrat at Large is a fast-paced comedy thriller. Matt Sheridan, a naive young English journalist, goes to California on a madcap assignment sponsored by drinking pals at his local pub and becomes involved in a series of escapades, in turn hilarious,romantic - and dangerous. When he runs foul of a ruthless tycoon it becomes questionable whether he will live to complete his assignment.
