Zulu Vampire

Captain Jake Smit loved the Zulu, but he hated the superstition that permeated their society, as a police Captain he saw the worst of the witchcraft murders and barbaric rituals. Now he had to deal with an outbreak of killing that had frozen the district in fear, because the slaughter was reputed to be the work of the dreaded Impundulu, a legendary Lightening Bird that struck lightning off its talons and fed off human blood. Making matters worse was the lanky American who stirred the story in the local newspaper, Marlin Madison was a talented journalist and her coverage of the Impundulu garnered widespread interest, but she never suspected that behind the killings lay an evil greater than Marlin or Jake could imagine.
