Stan Grant, a billionaire philanthropist, concerned about the world he is leaving to his grand children, decides to use his wealth to help humanity. He, and like-minded people form themselves in the 'New Ethical World'(NEW) group to promote ethics in science and technology. His quest, which takes him into the realms of nano-science and quantum biology, is to use this new science for the good of all. But there are those out to stop him and they will stop at nothing to ensure that the nano-weapons industry is left free to regulate itself. As a result, Stan finds himself embroiled in family scandals, uncomfortable family relationships and a dream that is rapidly becoming a nightmare.
