In the competition, entrants would choose to read three book extracts from 10 book extracts on the feedaread site, the extract choice would include your extract. Entrants would choose which 3 of the 10 extracts they wish to read from their own personal and genre preferences to encourage those readers interested in your genre, and read up to ten pages of each extract and answer a question about each extract. A randomly chosen winning entrant who answers questions correctly will win a critique from leading publisher Bloomsbury for their own book excerpt. Bloomsbury publish authors such as JK Rowling.

This publicity opportunity is an excellent proactive one which encourages Writing Magazine’s and Writers’ Forum magazine’s thousands of budding authors to read an excerpt from your book, which they can then buy should they choose.
The competition will feature from when the magazines comes out at the start of the month the ad appears until the end of the month, providing further time for you to spread the news to your social and other networks. Depending on the magazines next publishing schedule, the ad will feature in either September or October’s editions of the magazines.
