Dear FeedARead Authors and Readers

We are pleased to announce that we will be adding some exciting new promotion functions with the aim of assisting further author sales and helping readers find further interesting reads. These will be introduced in approx 4 to 8 weeks.

The first will enable authors to run a competition for their book or books. Authors will be able to offer a prize of a copy of their book on their networking sites chosen from friends on Facebook and Twitter who read an extract from their book on FeedARead. The new function on FeedARead will make this simple for authors to do, including the system choosing a winner from the entrants who read the competition extract. The aim will be to encourage further readers of books via the  extract upload function on FeedARead. Login and click Edit next to your book title and then the 'view' button next to the Book Extract function at the bottom of your book page to upload an extract for your book if you have not yet done so, it is free to upload an extract.

This will be the first of many new functions coming over the next few months to aim to assist further and to help readers find some great new reads. We will also be enhancing the site search functions soon too. We look forward to updating you further as we introduce the new functions over the coming months.
