Black Pope

After an assassination attempt on the Pope, Cardinals in the Vatican are targeted for execution by agents working for the 'Black Pope' the Jesuit General. The deaths are officially put down to natural causes but one of Cardinals thinks other wise and investigates at his and others peril. Some years later, Erik Philips, a Jesuit whistle-blower, while revealing the dark side of the Society of Jesus to Joab Rackham a journalist, disappears. Joab receives a disc with information, from the priest, about the whereabouts of a secret Jesuit hand book that, if published, would expose the corruption in the Church. With the help of the mysterious Dr Zahor Joab tracks Erik and the book down in Spain and sets out to rescue both.
