Jetsun Punk's Unforeseen Journey to Shambhala
The story begins on top of the world, in the Himalayas, in an ancient village called Kandak, following the adventures of a eight year old boy called Jetsun Punk.
Unusual, bold and extremely naughty, Jetsun had a bad reputation. He did not reflect the peaceful and compassionate ways of his community or family and was infamous for making a lot of trouble. Things got so bad that the village decided to send Jetsun to stay with a bunch of Buddhist Monks in a rundown monastery, in the hope it would help improve his behaviour. A reluctant and disgruntled Jetson is sent on a life-changing journey that unexpectedly takes him through some of the realms of Shambhala, meeting some extremely fascinating and colourful characters along the way. Magical and imaginative, the story also explores topics such as the environment, crystals, the animal kingdom, time travel, the other dimensions and death among other educational themes.
You are invited to share the soul journey of the four main characters, all of whom face their own challenges and issues, as they discover what they all have in common while finding their own individual truth and purpose, because every child has one.
