The MELTON-UPPBURY VILLAGE MYSTERIES
This book is one of a series of novels set in a normally quiet and tranquil seaside village on the Lincolnshire Coast. Its characters are not unlike the people you can meet in any similar village community, good, bad, and different, with a number of eccentrics.
The star characters are the Rev Rosemary Fitter, and her old school friend, Gardening Guru; the one and only Charlie Dimmock.
Life revolves around the Parish Church of St Guthlac's, the local Public House and the Village Hall, the activities of the Parish Council, Church Council and local businesses.
But in this small seaside village, no one can be sure whats going to happen next, normal things can quickly become abnormal or unusual.
A neglected horse rescue ends up in chaos, when gypsies go on the rampage, at the local Riding Stables.
The village Nativity Play becomes explosive and upsets some villagers.
The local church love lorn Rector takes to the drink and has to be sent away to recover.
The Rector returns and her life is saved by a Ghostly Spirit.
