About This Author

Terry Sanderson is one of Britain's best known gay journalists and secular activists. He has written a series of self-help books for gay people, including the best-selling titles How to be a Happy Homosexual, Assertively Gay, Making Gay Relationships Work and the Gay Man's Kama Sutra. He was an agony aunt on the Woman's Own problem page and was also media correspondent on Gay Times magazine for 25 years, producing one of the most widely read columns of its day. His gay activism began in the early 1970s and continues to the present. He is now president of the National Secular Society and lives in London with his partner of 35 years, Keith Porteous Wood.
