COMPETITION November 2013 - The following competition to win a Bloomsbury Editor critique is open up to and including 30th November 2013. All entrants are also welcome to publish through FeedARead, click Author Feedback on the top menu to view author feedback on paperback publishing with FeedARead. Free to join and publish a paperback for sale through FeedARead.

Free to enter. Competition for the opportunity to win a prize of a critique for your opening chapters from an editor for Bloomsbury, who publish authors such as J K Rowling. To enter, entrants must join the site and read a 6 page extract from each of the six books below and answer a question about each as outlined below. All nationalities are welcome to enter. FeedARead.com is independently run and was programmed with Arts Council funding to enable authors of all nationalities to publish as paperback books. Options include free publishing to sell your book directly through the FeedARead site, and also paid options to sell your book on other sites too such as Amazon. Click here to join

Read the first few pages from each of the six books below and answer one question about each as detailed below. To read the extracts, click on the links below and then the button to view the extract, the question for each extract will be at the end of each extract. The winner who answers all the questions correctly will be chosen at random from the correct entrants, and will receive a critique for their opening chapters from a Bloomsbury editor. Closing date for entries is 30th November 2013.

Enter all six answers to the above questions in the ‘Comment’ box following 'Leave a Comment’ below, along with your name and email address. Enter all of your answers together as follows in the 'Leave a Comment' box below: The name of the books followed by your answer to the questions about the books. For example: Blood Relatives: Your Answer. The Bastion: Your Answer. Corporal Jack: Your Answer – for all 6 books in the 'Leave a Comment' box below.


You do not need to fill out the ‘website’ field below. Your answer and entry details will be entered into the competition when you click the button to submit them below, and will be kept hidden as answers will not be displayed for the purposes of the competition. There is one prize of one critique from a Bloomsbury Editor. The winner of the competition will be chosen at random from the correct entries and that winner's name will be displayed here by the end of the first week of December 2013. The winner will receive the Bloomsbury editor critique for up to the first 7,000 words of their novel. The result announced will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
