A Dog's Tale and other stories

This collection of short stories has been written casually over a number of years by an author who regards writing as a hobby. Many of them have been created in response to exercises set by the leaders of one writing group or another. They have not been grouped in any particular order so that the reader will find he or she will step from say a snapshot of domestic life to a glimpse of loneliness or even terror. Amateur authors will sometimes say they write for themselves and are not interested in having their work published. That is not the case with this author - please read and (hopefully) enjoy.
