Completely, Madly

A young girl's struggle to battle alcoholism, self-harm and depression causes the boundaries of reality and imagination to merge after she falls into the safety and love of an unexpecting teacher. After trying to come to terms with her sexuality alone, she finds the confidence she needs in her best friend, entering into her first love affair and two whirlwind romances quickly intertwine. As the tormented teenager continues to grapple with sexuality, rape and heartbreak, she finds new ways to cope with the abundance of emotions that overload her, sending her spiralling into the abyss. Suicide and depression take hold of the vulnerable teen and a breakdown in her relationship with the woman she loves forces her to face the madness of the lie she has been living. The images of the ilicit affair between the pupil and her teacher begin to burn leaving the reality of heartbreak and the insanity of the mind in which she lives, pushing her to do something she can never take back. This is a heartbreaking story of a young girl's painful experiences, her struggle sexuality and her ever dissipating ability to define the boundaries between fantasy and reality.
