Consolation Pieces

God speaks to us in an incredible variety of ways. If we are open to finding him in unexpected places we may be pleasantly surprised. As I have sought to do this more and more, to attune my senses to God in the unexpected as well as the expected places, I have recorded my thoughts in a journal. Consolation Pieces comprises a collection of these observations. Through the natural world, film, literature, music and every day experiences the spiritual world breaks into our physical world. I hope that my attempts to capture and relate what I have glimpsed or sensed resonate with you and help us all to remember that God is in all things and that all things are in God.
