Ghosts of the Kalahari
1908. Richard Gordon, facing huge financial and deeply personal problems, decides to seek his fortune in South West Africa, (now Namibia)accompanied by lifelong friend Harry Larkin. Braving the treacherous Skeleton Coast seas, scorched by blistering desert winds and harried by hostile troops, they, together with newfound friend Otto, eventually reach the mysterious Lost City of
the Kalahari, where tragedy strikes forcing them to flee in the middle of a violent volcanic eruption. Helped by local tribesmen they finally arrive at Windhoek where Richard makes a shattering discovery. The story also highlights the cruelty and injustice suffered by the Namibian people at that time.
