Hunt Harry & Catcharat: A Turn of the Double Twist
Its loops cursively script the outline of our lives. Our colour, our physique, our cellular identity, and sometimes our erasure, are dictated by our genes. But this does not mean that these lines may not be edited.
So a man thinking to resurrect his dead wife in some way grows a plant from her ashes. Unusual maybe, but understandable. He talks to her as he potters. But then, not so usual or understandable, she engages him in conversation. And she tells him that she had been murdered. And so he demands justice.
But the police just think him a wave away from a shipwreck, and ignore him. But then his dead wife gives up the name of a murderer to them, or so the man insists. As their part of the bargain DCI Antonius Khan Hunt and DS Harry Fox agree to investigate her death. And so the undead rise and they are led through a bizarre labyrinth to the stone under which a dilemma and a conundrum hibernate.
