Our dad has brought to the fore what it is like to be struck down with Guillain Barre Syndrome. This book vividly captures his physical and emotional journey through the illness; a journey which we and our mam shared with him. From initial paralysis, ten months in hospital and on to his long road to partial recovery our dad has shown his strength of character and his ability to remain focussed and positive through some terrifying times.
