This collection of poems reflects my many visits to Ireland, my favourite destination. I spent a month in a remote cottage overlooking Bantry Bay. The cottage was reached by a long and winding, rock strewn track next to an old famine house. My most recent visit was to Termon House, a historic agent's house on the shores of the Atlantic in Donegal, where I stayed for 3 weeks. The landscape, history and people I encountered gave me the inspiration for these poems.
