Jimmy Fox’s Great Pet Adventure is the story of a lonely man’s attempts to select a perfect pet companion. Things seem doomed from the start after his first choice, a bird that’s afraid of the dark, gets Jimmy in trouble with the police! Although his second pet – man’s best friend – seems perfect, Jimmy reluctantly has to let him go. He samples a wide variety of replacements but something about each of them just doesn’t seem quite right… As the story seems to be drawing to a peaceful conclusion, a shocking event pushes Jimmy into the spotlight and changes his life forever.
