Keeping Calm and Carrying Onaa

The aim of this book is to record something of our family history, that my mother, stepfather, and uncles and aunts told me, or what happened to them, during the Second World War, and in the years afterwards. They have interesting stories to tell. At the start of World War II, there were two well-known posters in UK. "Do your Bit for King and Country", and "Keep Calm and Carry on"; Hence the title of this book. The following pages will show how our family did both, so successfully.
