“Have you heard the news?” Matty said as he exploded into the Chill Out room like a firework up a chimney. “Ssh!” Megan said crossly. “I am trying to do my French homework. Really, why do they need so many verbs?” “We have just as many,” Keira reminded her logically. “I know. But ours are easier.” “Well, the French ones are just as easy for the French.” “Will you shut up about verbs? I have some exciting news to tell you and you are just waffling on about French homework.” “Which, incidentally, I’ve done,” Nic added smugly, then laughed when he saw the expression on Matty’s face. “Oh go on, tell us the news then, before you simultaneously combust.” “Not sure I want to now.” Matty was annoyed that no one had taken him seriously and he didn’t want to impart his spectacular news to such an undeserving audience. “Oh go on,” Nic prompted. “What world-shattering event has taken place at the Lewinsky Stageschool?” Matty was still sulking but he couldn’t resist the temptation to be the first to impart the exciting news. “There’s going to be a tour,” he blurted out. “Some of the Stageschoolers are going to be picked to go on a tour around the country.” Find out what happens to Keira and her friends when they set out on a tour around the country and the new friends they meet on the way.
