THE POETRY OF PAUL AMBROSE CROGHAN

Paul Croghan, alias Paul Connor, has been described as "one of life's colourful characters, a true ecentric in the nicest sense of the world", and as "a witty, entertaining, charismatic man". He was well known in folk clubs as well as being involved with aeroplane enthusiasts' societies in the 1970s; and earlier, in the days of steam, he had been a passionate railway enthusiuast. He also loved Manchester, describing it as "this marvellous city" and "this magical town". Now, more than ten years after his death, this book of his poems is offered as a small memorial to an unsung genius.
