The Animals Have Their Say
What would animals say to us humans if they could talk. In this little book, aimed at kids from 9 to 99, the thoughts and observations of a varied group of animals from around the world are imagined and, for fun, rendered in rhyming poems.
The 26 animals in the collection - one for each letter of the alphabet - hang out in such locations as the Amazon rainforest, the Africa deserts, the Arctic ocean, and the gardens of England. They include the world's longest venomous snake, a dinosaur that starred in Hollywood films, and the smelliest creature of them all.
In speaking out, the animals reveal themselves as opinionated, proud, humble, humorous, sad, philosophical, even religious. All have something interesting to say.
