Profile: Gail Jones

About This Author

Gail has been writing for a number of years and is the author of the Rachel Brooks Trilogy, 'Family Secrets', 'Family Fear' and 'Family Missing'. The books are aimed at teenagers but enjoyed equally by adults. Gail has worked with children and young people for nearly 30 years on a voluntary basis. It is through working with these children that she first created a series of stories about the misadventures of a young squirrel. Gail has taken two writing courses, one with the London School of Journalism and the other with the Academy of Children's writers. It was whilst undertaking these courses that Gail discovered her love of young adult fiction and 'Family Secrets' was born.
