About This Author

I live on Merseyside with my husband and dog. I've written all my life, mostly stories and poems, and this is my second novel. I sent the first to lots of agents and then decided to focus instead on writing this one. I'm now about to begin a third, having been researching for a while. I lived in Winchester for a time and love the city and the landscape. I was not living there during the Twyford Down protest, and was unable to take part in it, which I would have liked to do. I have the deepest respect for those who were there and did their best to save the countryside.I hope that this book conveys some of my feelings, (and honours those of some who were there), about the building of the road.
