Profile: Kate Gordon

The older we become the more we look back to childhood, question the present and wonder about the future. I hope my reflections will strike a chord with anyone who reads them.

This is my second collection of poems. The subjects range from schooldays, working days and things which made us beautiful in our youth, to Scottish pipe bands, birds, and present day supermarkets

These are my poems inspired by my country, my city, my culture and my family. They do not pretend to be great works of art, but were written for my enjoyment and, I hope, the enjoyment of others.

More observations on things which are all around us or happening to us. I hope readers will identify with some of the situations which have inspired me to put pen to paper, and enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.
