Malcolm D.Y. Treen worked in the television industry for over thirty years. Joining the sound department of LWT (London Weekend Television) in 1968, he eventually became a location manager, leaving the company in 1992 to go freelance. He worked on many programmes over the years. including: On the Buses, Frost On Sunday, Hark at Barker, Please, Sir!, Doctor in the House, Upstairs Downstairs, Thomas and Sarah, Dempsey and Makepeace, Wish Me Luck, Surprise Surprise, London’s Burning, Beadle’s About, You Bet!, The Knock, Jonathan Creek, Spooks and Ultimate Force. Also three made for TV films. Blue Money, Dutch Girls and Scoop. Malcolm joined the hospital radio station, Radio Frimley Park, in September 2005. He presents his own three-hour show on a Sunday afternoon. In addition, he is also the Membership Secretary of the radio station and a very proud member of the Magic Circle. He has achieved Associate Member of the Magic Circle with silver star. He resides in Darby Green near Camberley in Surrey with his wife, Mary. He has two daughters, Laura and Hannah, and two beautiful grandchildren, Zach and Safi.
