Michael D St George Kirke is a lifelong Historian, a former castle guide and a heritage tourism consultant and writer of scores of guides on buildings, places and people's work. Add research for TV's 'Who Do You Think You Are?' By serving in HM Forces, including the amalgamated Royal Americans, he followed centuries old family royal links as soldiers and courtiers and has produced 'A Guide to the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace'. An erstwhile rolling stone and world traveller he has been a farm hand and tutor in HNC level Countryside Management. He has also taught Sciences in schools and Cookery in a women's prison. His voluntary work included work in Sea Scouting and with the Outward Bound Trust, leading National Trust conservation camps and setting up projects for people with disabilities. He is listed with REACH and with his wife, Marjorie, gives talks on an eclectic miscellany to groups.
