Profile: Keith Barker

About This Author

I was born in Birkenhead in 1944, and I was described by Ian McMillan, the well known poet as "Birkenhead's finest" although this was probably because I'd just bought a signed copy of one of his books. After a career of 34 years in banking, a very uncreative occupation, I began to write poetry, verse, short prose articles to fulfil a life-long ambition to see my work in print. I hope this collection of work will amuse, interest and intrigue you and I hope some may move you on a much deeper level.
