Profile: Phil Parker

Phil Parker was a teacher of different versions of A-level English in sixth-form colleges in Rotherham and Stockport for over thirty years. In retirement, with time at last to write, he joined Sheffield u3a's Story Writing Group in 2017, and has been running the group since January 2022. Twenty of the stories written for this group form the basis for his first collection of short fiction, 'Girl with Fan'.
