About This Author

Chris Brown was born in Bristol in 1955 and has lived in the city that he loves/hates in equal measures, his whole life. He has been married to his wife Carole for over 40 years and they have two children, Daniel and Chloe and two grandchildren Max and Lily. He is as passionate about ska, reggae, soul, funk and punk as he is about his football club, Bristol Rovers. Chicken City is Chris’s second novel and is a follow-up to Guilty Tiger. The chief protagonist of both books is Steve Allen, one-time hard man and football hooligan who is grappling with the modern world and his own inner demons and phobias. They are both available on Amazon and also direct from the publishers, FeedaRead.com He has had two books published previously, his highly acclaimed cult-classic autobiography Bovver and its subsequent rerelease Booted and Suited which included new copy and photographs from his life growing up in Bristol in the 1970s.
