Steven Goss has been involved in the antiques trade for thirty-five years as a full-time dealer, an auctioneer, a specialist advisor to museums and collectors, and as a writer. He is acknowledged as an expert on early English porcelain and has written reference several books on antiques. Leathered is his second novel. Like its predecessor, the mystery thriller Going ... Going ... Dead, it is primarily set in Norfolk, a part of the country the author knows well. He now lives in Dorset.
