Jean Atkin is an established freelance writer and a published and award-winning poet. She has published two full collections of poetry and six poetry pamphlets. Her most recent poetry book is 'How Time is in Fields' from IDP. Jean works as a poet and writer in education and community projects, creating workshops for schools, libraries, museums, and many other organisations. She lived in Dumfries and Galloway for twelve years,during which time Wigtown's wide street, Georgian bookshops and blue estuary took over, and became 'The Crow House'. She is now settled in Shropshire.
