Profile: Marjorie Whitley

Marjorie is a life-time writer. From the time of her early school days in East London to her married homes in West and East Yorkshire she has never been without a story in her head and a part finished manuscript somewhere around the house. Bringing up a family (she is mother of three and grandmother of three!) during the tough times of the sixties and seventies meant dreams of being published had to be put on hold. Her first book ‘Consider the Lilies’ has been in the libraries for over 15 years (currently in large print) and still attracts regular PLR payments. This, her second – and this time self-published - novel, has just been released. Marjorie still works every day in her younger son's business in the Aviation Industry. She is currently working on an ‘authors cut’ of ‘Consider the Lilies’ for publication later in 2014 whilst planning her next novel, due out in late 2015.
