Ian Lindsay has been an actor for more than 50 years and has played everything from Pantomime to Shakespeare. Probably best known for the TV sitcom ‘Men Behaving Badly’. He has written a number of plays including a one-act ‘Lasagne Verdi’ which won an Arts Council award. His latest play, written with Jeremy Cantwell entitled ‘Chinese Whispers’ is about his ancestor Sir Edmund Backhouse who was an early 20th Century fraudster is currently looking for a producer. He has also written and published two satirical novellas ‘Murder at St Alfege’ and ‘Mystery at St Alfege’. His latest play is entitled A Tale from the Hills.
