John Gradwell is a former evening newspaper sub-editor who has written comedy and drama for the BBC.His sitcom, Are You From The Bugle? was broadcast on Radio 4 and included in the cast future star Peter Serafinowicz. Peter played old music hall star Frankie Funnybone, the subject of John's first novel, the spoof memoir Funnybone, now available through Feedaread and from other booksellers.The book has appeared on the writers' website YouWriteOn, gaining many excellent independent reviews and quickly progressing on to the site's best-seller list. Are You From The Bugle? was repeated on Radio 4 Extra in June. John has also had crime dramas broadcast on the BBC and German radio.
