About This Author

Rasheed Talib is a retired Indian journalist who for more than 40 years was engaged in political analysis and writing for newspapers and the broadcast media in New Delhi, India. In 1992, he was awarded the Jawaharlal Nehru Fellowship to write a book under the broad rubric, Islam and Modernity.
