I lived most of my early life in the North-East of England before graduating in Mathematics from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Married with three grown up children I have spent most of my working life at the University of Liverpool. I now write because it is who I am and what I have become and what I want to say about the journey of both life and the imagination. If there is any meaning to life then I want to reveal it in the relationships, the hopes and the dreams of humanity and to touch the greatest power in this Universe, faith in the God of Love.
