About This Author

I was born in Birchington, Kent; England. At the age of 10 my family migrated to Australia. We settled in Gippsland Victoria and lived there for 3 years. We then moved to the city of Melbourne where I completed my education. When asked what inspired me to write “The Aussie Bush Detectives” the answer is simple. My love of the Australian bush, and noticing how many of our young children spend hours, glued to their computers, while Mother Nature waits for them outside. No matter what country you live in, I’m hoping that this book will encourage all children to leave the computer, even if it’s only occasionally, and see what excitement awaits them in the world of nature. To all the Mums and Dads, I’m hoping you too will spend time with your children in the great outdoors. Picnics, fishing, camping, exploring the bush and just having fun; these pleasures are also waiting for you.
