About This Author
Jane trained at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama studying Speech and Drama – AGSM LGSM. She is also an associate of LAMDA – ALAM. Past experience includes the stage, amateur and professional; acting in plays for BBC World Service Radio and teaching. She holds a certificate in personal counselling skills and for many years ran her own company: Speakwell Communications offering tuition to adults in public speaking and presentation skills.

'Home is where the Heart is' won first prize for the 2012 The Irene Swarbrick Salver competition.
Also,Jane was awarded second prize for the 2015 John Walter Salver
competition for her story 'Undelivered.'
For poetry:she won third prize in the Elizabeth Longford competition 2013 for 'Departure.'
Some of her short stories have been adapted for radio.
Jane lives in north west London.
