About This Author

Cliff James grew up in the East Sussex town of Battle. His experience of surviving abuse as a teenager while training to be a monk with the Bishop of Lewes and Gloucester, Bishop Peter Ball, inspired his first novel, Of Bodies Changed. He was the Editor of the Brighton LGBT newspaper one80news, the News Editor of the national gay magazine 3SIXTY, and has written extensively on social justice, environmental and human rights issues. He has published short stories with Arcadia and Little, Brown Book Group, poetry with Ekklesia, and was awarded the Raman Selden Memorial Prize for English Literature by the University of Sunderland.
