About This Author
i hated school, not the teachers, the other kids or even the subjects, but the way they were taught in such a uniformed supression of self expression, where the weak were tossed aside as the strong were encouraged to grow stronger,an unhealthilly early introduction to the class system.i left school with just seven GCSEs grade F.growing up in stoke-on-trent,i was destined for the grimey sweat shops of the pottery industry, which i endured for over ten years, eventually finding myself in the dicey world of retail security,my skin head and stocky physique boding well for me.but sometimes when people are kept in the dark, they dream only of light, and i quickly found that the drudgery of manual work was the mother of escapism, often finding myself lapsing in concentration as i wandered in and out of universes full of demons, slayers and cyborgs.i first started to draw my ideas,a gift of which i had been able since my early years, inspired by the great myths of greek and viking deities, and the cartoons of my youth, then,in a drunken night in the pub,i made a bet that i could write poetry, after some years i had amassed a small collection, each a poetic projection of my imagination,no"i wandered lonely as a cloud"but rhymes about goblins, wizards and all things wierd, but also with some compassion, patriotism and humour.god i sound a pretentious tw*t,i'm just a good old working class stoke born lad,who has a good imagination,so please, welcome to my world and please enjoy my books.p.s.sometimes my spelling and punctuation is so bad it verges on dyslexia, but please try not to concentrate on the grammer of my work, but on the journey into escapism and imagination that it takes you on...enjoy
