Perhaps that's why a showbiz theme seemed inevitable for her debut novel. As since appearing as Wellington Womble in "The Wombles of Wimbledon" musical, her love of the Performing Arts also led her to branch out as an entertainer. Shirley is now putting the finishing touches to an exciting new project: her one woman show.
