Shelley Irving was born in Liverpool, UK and fortuitously gifted two names already well established in writing history. She began writing fiction and inventing imaginary worlds at an early age and later took it more seriously and studied for a (BA Hons) in Literature and Writing and an MA in Writing. Her 'day jobs' have mainly comprised of titles followed by the word 'assistant' and have included bakery, retail, customer service,administration and veterinary among the preceding words. When not writing or assisting, Shelley enjoys reading, horse-riding, yoga, photography, travelling, having tattoos and partaking in random acts of dare-devilry.
