I am a former newspaper reporter, playwright and author. Several of my plays (co-written with Lesley Bown) have been published and performed by am/dram groups around the UK. 'Don't get your Vicars in a Twist', which won the the national Derek Lomas Playwriting Competition, is not only very popular in this country but in Ireland, Australia and New Zealand as well. As an author I have written 'Write your Life Story and get it Published', which is published by Hodder as part of the Teach Yourself series, and have co-authored with Lesley 'Writing Plays' which is part of Teach Yourself's Creative Writing Masterclass series. My first novel was 'Face to Face'. 'G'day and other stories' is a book of short stories written by myself, Lesley Bown and Jean Dennis
