The Plymouth Writers Group is run from Plymouth by a core group of writers. The group meets every month as a group to read stories and participate in creative activities. As part of this the group members contributed to their first anthology, entitled War and Other Pieces. This is a collection of short stories and poetry about War and other pieces. This anthology is particularly poignant in remembrance of 100 years since the start of the Great War. Nearly 100 million people lost their lives during the first and second world wars and we must never forget the brave men and women who fought for our freedom.
