The wrong species -We were kept separate from the complex, but we could see the carers through the glass wall of our chambers and, every so often, someone in a body suit would enter our room, but only briefly, and we weren’t allowed to touch them. (I must admit, as a small child, I had not realised that the people were in body suits, I just thought it was yet another different looking body.)
