A thriller set in the near future… The corpse is unlike anything seen before. The body of the young woman is so bizarre that Inspector Ryzzo, of Tech Crimes, is called to investigate. Inspector Ryzzo establishes a link to another young woman, Julia White, who works at a biotech company owned by her stepfather. As Ryzzo struggles to gain evidence, Julia is drawn deeper into the investigation. She wants to find out what happened to her mother. Inspector Ryzzo, tormented by his failings as a father, wants to stop the killer. The case soon goes beyond anything Ryzzo could have imagined as the nature of the technology involved, and the scale of the potential threat it represents, is revealed.
