Born in London but has gradually migrated northwards. Missed out on a university education going to a technical college instead. Always loved to know how things work. Interested in the big questions ...the kind of questions that children ask and adults stumble over the answers. Worked in the USA during the eighties in IT – then returned to the UK and spent many years working as a programmer/systems analyst/project manager on commercial IT projects. Began writing in 2013.
