Mama Told Me Not To Come

Back in 1970, before tuition fees, someone had to pay for our sex education. That's why, in the words of the hit song, Mama Told me Not To Come. Five students at the University of South Yorkshire are eager to learn, in the freedom of the post-pill culture. But they soon encounter unexpected obstacles, not least the cold patch on the stairs. Is there a Puritan ghost in their house? Or is narrator Liz Colley mixing fact and fiction as usual? Honestly, can one force oneself to relax and have fun? This is a tragi-comedy about how it really was in those heady days of the struggle to be free.
